About Us
The Sixteen Island Lake Union Church extends a warm welcome to our visiting clergy (Sundays at 10 am in July and August) and sincerely appreciates their important contribution to our regular Sunday worship. We look forward to the ministry of our guests and the blessing and fellowship it brings to the lake summer community and guests.

We welcome all visitors to the Union Church and invite frequent return visits to join in the Sunday worship service.

The hymn accompaniment each Sunday is pre-recorded, with selections from among 300 favourite tunes. Click
here for our list. We welcome any visiting musicians who would like to give us a hand. Please contact the President for arrangements.

The flowers in the Church each Sunday are provided by a member of the community.

On behalf of the Union Church we welcome and encourage you to attend our services during July and August. Should you wish to celebrate a special occasion, such as a Baptism, Wedding or Memorial Service, please contact the President of the church committee. In this way, we are better able to assist with the necessary and appropriate arrangements.

Memorial Fund and Capital Fund

Gifts to the Memorial Fund in the name of, or by friends of the Church are used for special needs which enhance our worship services, excluding general maintenance projects. In all cases, these expenditures are approved in advance by the Church Committee. A Capital Fund was established to accept donations which are used to help maintain the pavilion and wharfs used by the community. We will graciously accept donations by cash or cheque directly to our Capital Fund, which will also receive a percentage of the collection received at each service on an on-going basis. We appreciate those who have made these tax-deductible contributions in the past, and ask you to consider making another one. Donations can always be made by mail by cheque, payable to:

Sixteen Island Lake Union Church
244 avenue Maple
Saint-Lambert, QC J4P 2R9

You can download a
donation form to facilitate processing of your donation. You may also donate by credit card by clicking on the Donate Now button on the right, or you can bring your donation to the Church at 10 am on Sunday mornings (indicate Capital Fund on the note line of the cheque).

Donations and Tax Receipts
Receipts will be provided for all identifiable contributions to the Union Church and are tax deductible. Envelopes for weekly giving are available in the Church. Online credit card donations can be made by clicking on the donate now button.

Invited Clergy
An invitation is extended to have your minister lead a Sunday worship service next summer. As planning is initiated in mid-April, you should inform any of the members of the church committee prior to that time if you would like to host your minister, preferably with a suggested date or dates when he/she would be available.
